CARBON-CERAMIC BRAKE DISC AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A carbon-ceramic brake disk and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce the producing cost and time and make the process easy through using pan-based carbon fiber without coating. CONSTITUTION: A carbon-ceramic brake disk manufacturing method is as follows. Pitch-based carbon fiber and pan-based carbon fiber are mixed into a mixture(S11). The mixture is inserted a mold and pressed into a molded product(S12). The molded product is carbonized(S13). The carbonized molded product is worked mechanically(S14). Melted silicon is permeated into the worked molded product(S15). The worked molded product which permeated by melted silicon is polished(S16).
