The shield comprises a continuous side wall 1 having an indented profile and having a frust-conical shape and a base 2 both made of absorbent material. The base and side wall may be detachable. The shape allows the shields to be stacked (fig 3). The shield may have attachment tabs 3 and flaps 4 to aid removal. The device is used during changing of an infant to prevent spraying of urine or at other times when the infant is not wearing a diaper or nappy. |
