<p>The present invention provides a desiccant type dehumidifier, which is capable of absorbing the moisture through a desiccant and generating a continuous charged regenerating flow for desorbing water vapor from the desiccant. It replaces the conventional themal-desorption-type dehumidifier which regenerated by electric heater. The present invention utilizes charged medium to form an electric field and driving force for reducing the adsorptive force between the water molecular and the desiccant and then desorbing the water from the desiccant. Since the present invention consumes low power to generate charged medium for removing water from the desiccant, it is capable of reducing the energy cost during dehumidification and replacing conventional desorption system made by electric heater having high energy cost.</p> |
