PURPOSE: A block for road expansion and a construction method thereof are provided to prevent safety accidents by efficiently draining rainwater on the top of a roadway. CONSTITUTION: A block for road expansion comprises a base part(10), a support part(20), an expanded road part(40), and a reinforcement part(50). The base part is placed on the excavated part between a road surface(2) and a slope(3) and has a press part. The support part is vertically formed on the base part and supports one side of the surface of the road surface. The support part has a rainwater inlet. One side of the expanded road part is connected to the top end of the base part, and the other side is horizontally extended to the top space of the slope. The top and bottom ends of the reinforcement part are connected to the expanded road part and the base part to reinforce the expanded road part. |
