<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably feed paper by substantially horizontally maintaining the inclination of the uppermost one of a stack of sheets of paper (envelopes) whose four corners and sides are different in thickness. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of paper sensors for detecting a paper height and a plurality of raising/lowering motors for raising and lowering paper are provided. When a paper sensor 38ab, shown in Fig.7 for example, detects the side of the uppermost paper, the raising/lowering motors 35a and 35b for raising and lowering the detected side are stopped. Until a paper sensor 38cd for the opposite side detects the corresponding side of the uppermost surface, the raising/lowering motors 35c and 35d for raising and lowering the opposite side are driven. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
