<p>A variable power optical system (ZL) includes: a first lens group (G1) having a positive refractive power; a second lens group (G2) having a negative refractive power; a third lens group (G3) having a positive refractive power; a fourth lens group (G4) having a negative refractive power; and a fifth lens group (G5) having a positive refractive power, in this order from an object side. When varying power, the first lens group (G1) is fixed in the direction of the optical axis with respect to an image surface. When focusing, at least a part of the third lens group (G3) moves along the optical axis to satisfy a predetermined conditional expression. With this configuration, a variable power optical system, an optical device, and a method for manufacturing the variable power optical system are provided with better optical performance and sufficiently corrected aberration, as well as high variable-power ratio.</p> |
