<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel capable of reducing color shift between each of colors, capable of shortening attenuation time of green emission, and capable of freely changing a color reproduction range, such as improving color purity of red emission. <P>SOLUTION: A plasma display panel includes a plurality of types of discharge cells 160-162 each of which emits light of a different color. A phosphor 130 emitting light of a specified color with an irradiation of ultraviolet rays is provided in each of the discharge cells in common.
