<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal projector allowing more efficient cooling with cooling air by setting up an air flow and sprayed object range for each optical component constituting a liquid crystal light valve. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal projector according to the present invention has a nozzle for spraying cooling air to an optical component constituting a liquid crystal light valve, at each of plural liquid crystal light valves. Among these nozzles, in at least one nozzle 70B for a liquid crystal light valve 30B, a ventilation path is formed as a single path from an inflow port 75 constituting a communication port with a duct 60 to an outflow port 76 for outflowing the cooling air. In addition, a width direction dimension orthogonal to an optical axis in the outflow port 76 of this nozzle 70B is set up so that a spraying range of cooling air can be selected for each optical component of a cooled object. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
