<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device that achieves speedy recovery of mirroring when one of a plurality of storage media configured by mirroring is replaced. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing device 10 includes a plurality of HDDs 17, 18 which mutually store identical data by mirroring, and transfers data stored in the HDD 17 in normal operation to a new HDD when the HDD 18 is replaced with the new HDD. The image processing device 10 includes a time calculation part 14 which calculates an entire-area copying time needed for data transfer by entire-area copying from the HDD 17 to the new HDD, and also calculates a total backup time needed for data transfer by backup, using an external storage medium, from the HDD 17 to the new HDD, and a control part 11 which compares the entire-area copying time with the total backup time, and determines which of methods of the data transfer by entire-area copying and the data transfer by backup is faster, and achieves the recovery of mirroring in a method determined by the control part 11 to be faster. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
