[Also in Division F2] The flow path between an inlet 6 and an outlet 1 takes place through a flexible pipe 3 and a tubular extension; the latter which may be rigid, is normally aligned with the outlet 1. When the temperature sensed by a liquid-filled element exceeds a given value the liquid expands distension of a bellows 8 so moving the extension 2 out of alignment with the outlet 1 and throttling the flow through the latter. The temperature sensing element may be located in the casing. |
