A gaseous fluid pump having at least one cylinder having a wall defining an inner volume and containing a central axis. First and second pistons that both move along the central axis, wherein the first piston and second piston have similar mass. The first and second pistons are propelled by magnetic forces in an oscillating motion with a 180 degree phase difference between the first and second pistons.
