The device has a clamp i.e. shield clamp, comprising a base part and two side pieces for holding an electrical conductor. A one-piece carrier (10) is provided with a connecting part for arrangement and attachment at a bus bar, a mounting plate or a conductive mounting surface and formed to accommodate the base part of the clamp. A fitted projection (32) for accommodating a cord grip is provided at the carrier, and the clamp includes a round opening at the base part. A longitudinal side of the base part is pushed under projections (14a, 14b) of the carrier to connect the clamp with the carrier.
