Disclosed are pyrazolo-quinazoline derivatives represented by general formula (I). An example of a compound of formula (I) is 8-[2-acetyl-5-(4-methyl-piperazin-1-yl)-phenylamino]-1-methyl-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazolo[4,3-h]quinazoline-3-carboxamide. The compounds are used to treat cancer or a disease caused by and/or associated with a dysregulated protein kinase activity.
