PURPOSE: A quite type electric power steering device reducer is provided to prevent rattle noise generating noise and vibration in steering through compensating the meshing clearance of a worm wheel and a worm shaft by pushing a bearing supporting a worm shaft into columnar direction. CONSTITUTION: A quite type electric power steering device reducer comprises an elastic member(10). The elastic member is rotated by a motor(1) and pushing a small bearing(5) supporting one side of a worm shaft rotating a worm wheel(3). The elastic member has elasticity eliminating the clearance between a worm shaft and a worm wheel and forms the annular shape by comprising one or more protrusion portions(10b) and depression portions(10a). The protrusion portion and depression portion are alternately arranged with 60 degree. |
