摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating the degree of cancerization of a mammal-derived sample on the basis of the detection of a genetic abnormality and suitable for evaluating a diagnostic method for discovering a cancer early, a therapeutic method, or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The method for evaluating the degree of cancerization of a mammal-derived sample is characterized by including: (1) a first step of measuring the methylation frequency of Fms-related tyrosine kinase 1 gene contained in the mammal-derived sample, or an index value correlated with the methylation frequency; and (2) a second step of determining the degree of cancerization of the sample on the basis of the difference obtained by comparing, with a control, the methylation frequency or the index value correlated therewith that has been measured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
