The arrangement has an airbag module (1), and a course channel (2) comprising a guide vane (4) that is designed in a form-stiff manner, where the channel has a direction surface (4.1) that is convergent in a course direction (6). The guide vane is arranged at height of an outlet area of the airbag module in the course direction. The guide vane is connected with a housing (1.3) of the airbag module in a detachable or non-detachable manner. The housing is fastened to a transverse beam (7), and a gas generator (1.1) for filling an airbag (1.2) with gas is arranged in the housing.
