摘要 An endoscope device according to the present invention has: an imaging element for receiving light from a subject illuminated by illuminating light and generating a subject imaging signal; a light generating unit for generating light in first and second wavelength bands as illuminating light for radiating to the subject; an image signal generating unit for generating an image signal in which the respective imaging signals generated from each return light from the subject irradiated with light in the first and second wavelength bands are each assigned to different colors; a first light-quantity adjustment unit for increasing an irradiation time or the quantity of light in a third wavelength band including the wavelength at which the light absorbance of blood in the subject is at maximum among light in the first wavelength band, relative to the quantity of light not in the third wavelength band among light in the first wavelength band; and a second light quantity adjustment unit for reducing an irradiation time or the quantity of light in a fourth wavelength band including the wavelength at which the light absorbance of blood in the subject is at maximum among light in the second wavelength band, relative to the quantity of light not in the fourth wavelength band among light in the second wavelength band.
