BRANCH PIPE LINING METHOD AND BRANCH PIPE LINING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent subsurface water from flowing with sediment into a main pipe from a portion where a branch pipe and the main pipe cross each other, by improving connection between a main pipe lining material and a branch pipe lining material.

SOLUTION: The main pipe 30 is lined with the main pipe lining material 20 comprising a resin pipe 20a made of a thermoplastic resin. A flange 3 of the branch pipe lining material 1 is formed of a material capable of being thermally welded to the thermoplastic resin of the resin pipe. The flange of the branch pipe lining material and each thermoplastic resin of the resin pipe are heated by a heater 81, and the flange of the branch pipe lining material and the resin pipe of the main pipe lining material are thermally welded together for connection between the flange of the branch pipe lining material and the main pipe lining material. Such a constitution prevents the subsurface water from flowing with the sediment into the main pipe from the portion where the branch pipe and the main pipe cross each other.
