<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-pressure inverter device capable of securing safety of a host power source during maintenance and inspection and an initial charging method of the same. <P>SOLUTION: The high-pressure inverter device comprises: an input transformer 2 to which electricity is fed from an alternating-current power source via an input switch 1; a power converter 3 to which electricity is fed from a secondary winding of the input transformer 2, which includes a smoothing capacitor in a direct-current link, and which drives an alternating-current electric motor 5 using an output of the power converter 3; and an initial charging circuit 6 including a current-limiting element 62 connected to an output side of the power converter 3 and connected to a low-pressure alternating-current power source via a low-pressure switch 61, and a boosting transformer 63 which receives an input from the other end of the current-limiting element 62 and provides a secondary output connected to the output side of the power converter 3. The high-pressure inverter device turns off the input switch 1, turns on the low-pressure switch 61 so as to start initial charging of the smoothing capacitor, and turns off the low-pressure switch 61 after a predetermined period of time has elapsed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
