<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support input according to a location and an individual user. <P>SOLUTION: A character input support device includes: input means 110; a location information processing unit 12 for obtaining location information; plural local user dictionaries 141, 142 and 143 for storing candidates of character predictive conversion and a priority of each candidate by area according to setting input by a user; local dictionary selection means 160 for selecting one of the local user dictionaries 141, 142 and 143 corresponding to the location information obtained by the location information processing unit 12; and a predictive conversion unit 170 for performing predictive conversion using the selected one of the local user dictionaries 141, 142 and 143. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
