The invention relates to a sun visor device(I; II; III) for vehicles which comprises at least one sun visor element(15; 20; 25) arranged to be pivotable between a raised first position and a lowered second position, which device further comprises a rod element (10; 80)arranged to run substantially across the vehicle's longitudinal direction and to be fastened to principal components (35) of the vehicle, said sun visor element(15; 20; 25) being arranged to be pivotable relative to said rod element (10; 80). The invention relates also to a vehicle cab.
