Leaf spring and method for producing the same

The spring (1) has a metal spring leaf (2) manufactured from spring steel and provided with an eyelet (3) for rotatably mounting the spring on a component of a chassis. The eyelet is introduced into a body of the spring leaf as an aperture, where the aperture is formed as a closed through hole. The eyelet is arranged in an end region of the spring. A bearing bush (4) is made of rubber and introduced into the through-hole of the eyelet in a press-fit manner. A fastening unit is arranged in an opposite end region of the spring for fastening an air bag. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a plate spring for a chassis of a vehicle.
