[Also in Division B4] In a mechanical hedge clipping tool, a blade edge of at least one blade member is formed with a plurality of notches or abutments at intervals along the blade edge, the notches or abutments being of progressively lesser size as their distance from an originating root point (remote from the blade tip) of the blade increases, the notches or abutments being so formed as to preserve substantially the bevel angle of the remaining straight portions of the blade edge. The blade 10 of the clipping tool shown has a plurality of notches 11 at intervals along the cutting edges of each of its teeth 12. |
