A terminal device is provided to check product information for eliminating an RFID tag or product information impossible to eliminate an RFID tag from an IC card to automatically grasp whether a product is a target product for eliminating an RFID tag, thereby preventing privacy intrusion or personal information leakage due to the RFID tag. An interface(105) extracts or receives information from an IC chip. A checking unit(110) checks product information for eliminating an RFID tag or product information impossible to eliminate an RFID tag. An output unit(115) outputs information for removing an RFID tag attached to a product or RFID information or outputs information for removal prevention after the output unit determines whether a product that a client wants to purchase is a target product for removing an RFID tag or impossible to remove an RFID tag. |
