The present disclosure refers to sila-substituted carbinols of formula (I) wherein R1, R2 and R3 are independently selected from C1-C4 alkyl or C3-C4 cycloalkyl; R4 is methyl or ethyl; and R5 is methyl or ethyl. The disclosure further refers to their preparation and to perfume compositions and fragrance applications comprising them.
