ELECTROPHORETIC DISPLAY DEVICE

PURPOSE: An electrophoretic display device is provided to block external light which is incident onto a transistor array and prevent leaked currents of a transistor due to external light. CONSTITUTION: A pixel electrode(PX) is connected to a transistor. A pixel voltage is applied to each pixel electrode wherein the pixel voltage corresponds to each pixel. A common electrode(220) faces the pixel electrode on a second support substrate. A common voltage is applied to the common electrode wherein the common voltage corresponds to each pixel. An ink layer(300) is arranged in parallel with capsules between the pixel electrode and the common electrode. The capsules include a white pigment and a black pigment wherein the white pigment and the black pigment have opposite polarities.
