PURPOSE: A road guardrail is provided to improve the shock absorbed efficiency in the collision of a vehicle by using a shock absorbing plate. CONSTITUTION: A road guardrail comprises a binding piece(21), a joint groove(23), a shock absorbing plate(20) and an absorptive plate combination. The binding piece is extended to surround the top end portion of a guardrail plate(15). The joint groove is infra formed of the guardrail plate in a longitudinal direction. The joint groove comprises the guardrail plate with surrounding the lower part of the guardrail plate. The end part of the shock absorbing plate is inserted into absorptive plate combination. The absorptive plate combination has curved fitting grooves on both sides.
