HYDRODYNAMIC BEARING HAVING STRUCTURE FOR PREVENTING LEAKAGE OF FLUID AND SPINDLE MOTOR HAVING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A hydrodynamic bearing assembly with a fluid leakage preventing structure and a spindle motor with the same are provided to effectively prevent fluid from being leaked from an axis and a pressurization plane of a thrust plate. CONSTITUTION: A metal-made axis(120) is installed in a sleeve(114). A nonmetal-made thrust plate(130) is bonded with an axis. A metal-made washer(140) is welded with the axis. The washer shields fluid from being leaked between the thrust plate and the bonding surface of the axis. A first placing groove is opened upward. The washer is inserted into the first placing groove.
