PURPOSE: A system and a method for correcting a derrick of a drilling ship are provided to calculate compensation in a measuring filed by processing data measured a loading state of a derrick in real time. CONSTITUTION: A system for correcting a derrick of a drilling ship is as follows. A correcting device measures a first derrick and a second derrick. A measured information receiving part receives measured information containing first measured values and second measured values. An error calculating part calculates error values of the received measured information by comparing the received measured information and coordinate information saved in advance. A compensation calculating part calculates compensation based on the calculated error values and delivers to the correcting device so that the correcting device can correct the first derrick and the second derrick.
