PURPOSE: An operation method of an optical repeater system for an optical monitor of an elevator is provided to use a communication terminal in a shadow area of the elevator by supply of an optical repeater. CONSTITUTION: An analog optical relay module(110) transmits and receives a mobile communication signal. A content processing module(120) transmits and receives a content signal from a media server(121). A first muxing/demuxing processing unit(130) muxes the mobile communication signal and the content signal into an optical signal. A passive device light splitter(140) splits the muxed optical signal into one of more signals. A second muxing/demuxing processing unit de-muxes the optical signal into the mobile communication signal and the content signal.
