COVER GLASS FOR FLAT PANEL DISPLAYS AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A cover glass for a flat panel display and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve a design and textures by forming curved parts on both sides of a display unit in a width direction. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(31) is located on the front side of an image display part. An area that becomes a curved part(33) of a cover glass among planar glasses is locally heated. A skirt unit(32) is formed by bending the planar glass in the area that becomes the covered part.
