The windmill blade has a blade cross-section in which the maximum blade thickness position where the blade thickness is maximum is provided within a range where the position X/C in the blade chord direction obtained by dividing the distance X from the leading edge 6 along the blade chord line 7 by the chord length C is &ge;0.28 and &le;0.32, and the maximum camber position where the camber is maximum is provided within a range where the position X/C in the blade chord direction is &ge;0.45 and &le;0.55.
