PURPOSE: A component carrier using method of a relay station in a multi carrier system is provided to differentially set up a component carrier which applies to a backhaul link and an access link according to the amount of transmission data. CONSTITUTION: A BS(Base Station) transmits a component carrier line application information to a RS(Relay Station)(S250). The RS applies a signal transceiving link to a component carrier of an access link and a component carrier of a backhaul link(S251). The BS and the RS transmit a backhaul signal according to component carrier link application information(S252). The RS transmits an access signal(S253).
