TOP PLATE FOR METALLIC CAN, AND METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CORRECTING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a top plate for a metallic can in which the damaged portion of a laminated layer which is caused when an attachment structure is fixed to a top plate body can be properly corrected while preventing environmental pollution, and to provide a method and an apparatus for correcting the top plate for the metallic can.

SOLUTION: A ring-like correction film is formed over a film formation area for a mouthpiece which includes at least an inner face side boundary of a caulked/combined part of the top plate body and the mouthpiece and has a predetermined range in the attachment structure fixed to the top plate body of the top plate for the metallic can. The correction film is thermally melt-stuck to the film formation area for the mouthpiece by a heating roller.
