<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to easily visualize the propagation state of sound emitted in a sound space. <P>SOLUTION: A sound/optical converter array is constituted by arranging a plurality of sound/optical converters in a matrix, each having a light emission part, a microphone, and a light emission control part for sampling and holding the instantaneous value of the output signal of the microphone in synchronization with a strobe signal and causing the light emission part to emit light with brightness according to the sampled and held instantaneous value. The sound/optical converter array is located in a sound space and each sound/optical converter is connected to a control device. The control device is made to perform processing to generate and output a strobe signal in synchronization with sound production of a sound to be an object of visualization by the plurality of sound/optical conversion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
