<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position detection method in a touch panel by which a measurement can be easily performed even when two points are concurrently brought into contact. <P>SOLUTION: A position detection method includes a first measuring step for connecting one side of a first resistor to a first electrode, applying a power supply voltage to the other side of the first resistor, and measuring a potential in the first electrode while grounding a second electrode, a second measuring step for connecting one side of a second resistor to a third electrode, applying a power supply voltage to the other side of the second resistor, and measuring a potential in the third electrode while grounding a fourth electrode, a third measuring step for applying a power supply voltage to the first electrode and measuring the potential in the third electrode and the potential in the fourth electrode while grounding the second electrode, and a fourth measuring step for measuring the potential in the first electrode and the potential in the second electrode while grounding the fourth electrode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
