<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a container capable of efficiently manufacturing a container with excellent strength. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing the container, the container with a flange part protruded outward in its outer periphery is produced by thermoforming a foamed sheet formed with the use of a thermoplastic resin, and then, punching the foamed sheet out by a blade die. The foamed sheet is punched out by the blade die one size bigger than a container shape to be produced to form a primary product with a protrusion length of the flange part longer than that of the container to be produced. Then, an outer shape adjusting step of adjusting the container shape by thermofusing the front end of the flange part and retreating the front end in a direction opposite from the protruding direction of the flange part, is carried out. Moreover, a laminate is formed by laminating a plurality of the primary products, and the laminate is heated from a side surface side to thermofuse the front end of the flange part, thereby carrying out the outer shape adjusting step simultaneously to the plurality of the primary products. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
