<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray imaging apparatus capable of improving the resolution of an image while securing strength of the X-ray imaging apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A radiation imaging apparatus (20) performs an imaging operation using radiation irradiated to a subject (30) and includes: a scintillator (26) which converts radiation to visible light; a light-shielding layer (24) which is disposed on the subject side against the scintillator, passes the radiation therethrough, and shields the visible light; a plurality of imaging elements (43) which perform photoelectric conversion of the visible light generated by the scintillator; and a reinforcement plate (25) which is disposed between the scintillator and the imaging elements and has light transmission properties. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
