<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide MRIS gradient magnetic field coil sub-assembly that minimizes partial discharging. <P>SOLUTION: MRIS gradient magnetic field coil sub-assemblies 6X, 6Y, and 6Z comprise: first coil layers 3X1, 3Y1, and 3Z1 including a first conducting coil portion; second coil layers 3X2, 3Y2, and 3Z2 including a second conductive coil portion electrically connected with the first conductive coil portion so that the first and second conductive coil portions act together as one winding; and B-stage material consolidation layers 4X, 4Y and 4Z sandwiched between the first and second coil layers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
