FIELD: machine building. ^ SUBSTANCE: method for welding of a polymer pipe involves preparing pipe ends, installing and fixing the ends of the pipes to be welded in clamps of a centring device with simultaneous fitting of a part with embedded heating element, connecting the part to a welding machine, setting a welding process program, starting welding, heating and cooling the connections. The melting area is preheated to a certain temperature as per a regulated range of temperatures by means of an individual electrical power supply. Temperature readings of a temperature sensor of a welding machine are maintained to be equal to a value of a preset specified temperature of the heated melting area of a welded connection. Cooling of a welded connection is done in a thermal jacket ensuring the same cooling rate as at ambient air temperatures of the regulated range. ^ EFFECT: quality welded connection without building a special structure. ^ 1 tbl |
