<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform proper correction. <P>SOLUTION: A first correction circuit 21 outputs a first correction coefficient value K1 from a luminance value of pixel data Pa on the basis of a first correction characteristic. A second correction circuit 22 outputs a second correction coefficient value K2 from a luminance value of the pixel data Pa on the basis of a second correction characteristic. A composition circuit 23 generates a third correction coefficient value K3 by composing the first correction coefficient value K1 and the second correction coefficient value K2 on the basis of a composition ratio.
