he invention relates to a method of placing freon compressor in buses furnished with horizontally positioned floor engine, with the use of specific supporting bases placed on the chassis. Between the two bases there is placed a dividable base composed of two plates with shock-reducing elastomer material between them. Drive is transmitted by the crankshaft of the bus engine to the pulley of the compressor's shaft. For the smooth operation of the system the place of the air filter and air supplying circuit of the engine should be changed. Changes are carried out with the least intervention possible in the engine and the passenger's space; easy access in the compressor's space is allowed for repair and maintenance works.
