<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique in which warning or assistance is given so as to make a vehicle to travel within a travel road and increase a use opportunity of a travel supporting device to effectively use the travel supporting device in the case where an arousal level of a driver or a level of a driving operation is low even if the reliability of a travel road recognition result is low. <P>SOLUTION: A travel supporting device gives warning or assistance to make a vehicle to travel within a travel road in the case where the vehicle is deviated from a set travel road.
