A valve plate assembly of a compressor of the present invention comprises a valve plate and a valve sheet. The valve plate assembly of the compressor comprises: suction ports which are formed on said valve plate; and leads which are connected by neck portions in order to open and close said suction ports, and are positioned on said valve sheet, wherein there are two or more said suction ports; and said leads are formed to cover the two or more suction ports. Thus, since a plurality of suction ports and the neck portions of the leads are formed, the cross-sectional area of the suction ports is increased to obtain a refrigerant intake and at the same time, to improve durability of the leads.
