<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic system that can transfer information to a selected TAP without reference to whether an unselected TAP is powered ON or OFF. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic system 10 has TAPs 20, 22, and 24 connected to a TAP switch 12 respectively. The TAP switch 12 includes a first circuit 40 configured to provide a clock signal for one selected TAP in response to a selection code included in a serial instruction like a code added or previously added to an instruction. Further, the TAP switch includes a second circuit 38 including an instruction register (IR) configured to pass the serial instruction, received by the TAP switch, to the selected TAP,and a third circuit 42 configured to transfer the serial instruction, received from the selected TAP, to an output of the TAP switch. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
