PURPOSE: A light emitting device is provided to prevent light absorption to an electrode by transmitting light through a concavo-convex shape formed on a semiconductor layer, thereby improving light emitting efficiency of the light emitting device. CONSTITUTION: A first semiconductor layer(153) is located on a conductive support substrate. An active layer(152) is located on the first semiconductor layer. A second semiconductor layer located on the active layer includes a recess. An electrode pad(160) is located on the recess. The width of the electrode pad is greater than or equal to the width of the recess. |
