PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing aluminum pistons for an engine of a vehicle and aluminum pistons manufactured by the same are provided to improve the durability through partly improving a thermal fatigue characteristic of a piston rim because a structure of the piston rim is granulated and equalized by using a frictional stir. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing aluminum pistons for an engine of a vehicle is as follows. Material coasts to a shape of a piston. The cast piston(1) is heat-treated. Inner and outer diameters are roughly cut. A piston head(5) and land are roughly cut. A piston rim(10) is friction-stirred so that an organization is fined. A ring groove and the piston rim are finished.
