PURPOSE: An apparatus for supporting a flexible boom for loading on a pillar construction crane and a method for constructing a pillar are provided to grip a pillar member with a pair of gripping arms and to fasten the supporting member with pillar fastening units, in order that a flexible boom supports is supported by the pillar member. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for supporting a flexible boom for loading on a pillar construction crane and a method for constructing a pillar comprises a base(5), a pillar support base(6), a pair of gripping arms(7L,7R), roller chains, a base operating cylinder(5c), an arm operating cylinder(7a), and a chain opening and closing cylinder. The base is fixed in a flexible boom. The gripping arms are supported in the pillar support base in a parallel direction with a pillar shaft direction in order to move from an opening position in which the pillar member is opened to a gripping position in which the pillar member is gripped. The roller chains are installed inside the pair of the gripping arms and can be reduced diameter less than the gripping arms. The base operating cylinder allows the pillar support base to move forth and back. The arm operating cylinder operates the gripping arms. |
