FLOODGATE CAISSON HAVING INCREASE FLOW STRUCTURE

PURPOSE: A floodgate caisson having a structure for increasing water velocity is provided to increase the velocity of seawater passing through the floodgate caisson when a floodgate is opened. CONSTITUTION: A floodgate caisson(10) having a structure for increasing water velocity comprises one or more water canals(20) and a pump(30). The water canals communicate with an inner area(18) where seawater passes through and an outer area where seawater flows in. The pump is arranged on the water canals and increases the velocity of seawater passing through the floodgate caisson by forcefully discharging the seawater from the outer area to the inner area.
