The device (10) i.e. load cell, has a roller shaft (14) connected with an inner region of housing (11) and a torsion shaft. A sensor i.e. strain gauge, is arranged on the torsion shaft, and detects elastic deformation of the torsion shaft based on deviation of a deflection unit around the torsion shaft. The roller shaft is supported in a counter bearing to enable deviation of the deflection unit around the torque shaft and torsion of the torque shaft and to protect the deflection unit from roll-axle-parallel movement and the torque shaft from roll-axle-parallel deformation.
